Message for Our Families and Visitors

Dear Families of Marion, Gas City, Swayzee, and Surrounding Communities,

Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service has been serving families since 1892 and, even during these confusing and concerning times in our world today due to the spread of COVID-19, we still stand ready to serve families. In order to avoid compromising the health of our visitors, we are continuing to lead the way.

With safety and the well-being of your family and friends being our top priority, we want to keep you informed of everything we are doing. Therefore, we have provided the following government and agency updates, plus information regarding our locations.

Government/Agency Updates

  • We are closely monitoring and following all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the Governor’s Office, the State Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE), National Funeral Directors Association, and Indiana Funeral Directors Association.

  • We have the capability of video recording the service and placing it on our website.

Give us a call and we will determine how to best serve your family, whether in person or by phone arrangements or email.

Visiting our Funeral Homes and Grant Memorial Park

  • We have set in place new measures to help protect and accommodate the elderly, sick, and members of the public. Even before COVID-19, all of our locations are clean and safe, and we will continue to maintain healthy and safety measures for any virus. We have enacted extra cleaning both morning and night in all of our public areas.
  • Reminders have been placed throughout our funeral homes to ask that physical contact, such as shaking hands, be limited with family members only.
  • After coordination with many local long-term nursing facilities, our staff will carry extra protective gear for added protection to those residents at risk.

We will post any and all updates we receive from the CDC and national funeral associations to keep families informed. We will follow all new guidelines that are directed as the need arises.

Be assured that our doors will continue to remain open and that our caring and experienced staff are ready to assist families. We extend our deepest appreciation to you in advance for putting your trust in us. We are always available and ready to assist. We are all in this together! *CDC Information Copied from NFDA
At this time, the CDC states that decedents with COVID-19 may be buried or cremated according to the family’s preferences. They state that there is currently no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral home with the body of someone who has died of COVID-19. However, the CDC states that people may consider not touching the body of someone who has died of COVID-19.

With a focus on simplicity, we believe in an approach that is straight-forward and easy to understand. It is for this reason that you will find our prices on this website. We encourage you to review and compare our prices to those of other funeral homes in Grant County and all surrounding communities. By selecting Integrity Funeral Care, we are confident that you will see a savings of hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars compared to that of other funeral homes.
